FC Dulles will be holding Rolling Tryouts for the 2025–2026 Travel Teams Poplar Tree Park #2 (off Stringfellow Road in Chantilly) through the end of July.

All players must register in advance to attend. Tryouts are free.


Boys Supplemental Tryout Schedule

Tuesdays:  July 1, 8, 15, 22, & 29

Thursdays: July 10, 17, 24, & 31

5:00-6:30 PM:

  • Boys U9–U11

  • Birth years: 2015, 2016, 2017

  • Highly skilled players born in 2018 are also welcome to attend

6:30-8:00 PM:

  • Boys U12–U13 Birth years: 2013, 2014

NCSL REC Fall 25 Info

NCSL-REC (boys U10–U14) | Birth Years 2007–2016)

Overview

Our NCSL-REC program provides players in age groups boys U10/U11, boys U12, boys U13, boys U14, the opportunity to play refereed league games against other clubs in the Northern Virginia area. For other age groups not listed above we only accept full teams- please send inquiry to fcdulles@gmail.com.

  • U10 teams will play up to U11.

  • Games are mostly local to Chantilly.

  • Coaches are volunteers, have passed a criminal background check, and are SafeSport certified.

Team Formation

  • Teams are encouraged to form prior to registration.

  • During registration, players should list their team name in the “Team Name” field.

  • Players not associated with a team will be randomly assigned as needed.

  • Players may play up an age group but not down. The oldest player on the roster determines the team’s age group.


What’s Included

  • 8 League Games (4 home / 4 away)

    • Most games on Saturdays, with occasional Sunday games

    • Season starts: September 6, 2025

    • No games: October 11–12

    • Possible rain date weekends: November 2, 8, and 9

  • 8 Weeks of Practice (2 sessions per week)

    • Start: Week of August 25, 2025 (earlier if field space allows)

    • Schedule TBD based on coach and field availability

  • Access to the club’s TeamSnap account for communication and scheduling

  • Red FC Dulles practice t-shirt

    • Additional shirts available for $18 each

  • Fall 2025 Program Fee: $100


What’s Not Included

  • Uniform Kit: $95/player

    • Distributed at first practice

  • Fairfax County Field User Fees

    • In-county: $10/player

    • Out-of-county: $50/player

  • VYSA Fee: $10/player

  • Player Equipment: Cleats, shin guards, soccer ball, water bottle

  • Optional Post-Season REC Tournament

  • All activities are weather-permitting and dependent on field availability.

  • Practices will not be made up if canceled due to weather.

FC Dulles is a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth soccer club serving Western Fairfax and Eastern Loudoun counties in Northern Virginia. Our community includes the areas of Chantilly, Herndon, Reston, Oakton, Fairfax, Clifton, Vienna, Centreville, South Riding, and Aldie.

Programs and Player Pathways

FC Dulles offers soccer programming for boys and girls of all skill levels, ages 3 to U19. Our comprehensive pathway includes:

  • Eaglets (U3/U4 – Fall only)

  • Micro-Academy (U5/U6)

  • REC/Pre-Travel Academy (U7–U9)

  • NCSL REC (U10–U19)

  • ADAP – Advanced Development Academy Program (U7/U8 – Spring only)

  • Travel Soccer (U9–U19) – Year-round competitive programming

Our Approach to Development

Our curriculum is based on the U.S. Youth Soccer Player Development Model, U.S. Soccer Player Development Initiatives, and the Play-Practice-Play methodology. Training is led by experienced, licensed coaches—or those actively pursuing licensure—focused on both individual development and team dynamics in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

We prioritize the development of the whole player, emphasizing technical skills, decision-making, resilience, and character. Our club-centric model, with a unique style and system of play, is supported by structured programming, professional coaching, and a clear player development philosophy.

At FC Dulles, we understand soccer is a long-term developmental journey. Our players are encouraged to continuously improve through effort and commitment while embracing challenges and learning to compete. Our coaching philosophy is centered on producing technically sound, tactically intelligent players who are resilient, composed under pressure, and driven to succeed.

Competitive Opportunities

FC Dulles teams compete in local and regional leagues, including the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL)—one of the region’s most competitive platforms. NCSL offers a clear pathway to higher-level State, Regional, and National competitions under U.S. Youth Soccer.
